Kristin hails from dusty, downtown Phoenix, AZ with a stint in Washington, D.C., she creates large scale community-based art projects and mixed media urban art.
Recent projects include Hmmm… a 325 feet long mural at the entrance to the Grandview Neighborhood in Central Phoenix, AZ completed with over 70 local volunteers and Flowerhouse, a flame-shooting art car made of scrap metal and recycled components completed with the rural community East of Snowflake, A.Z. Perhaps best known for her Friendly Flowers project, which is a traveling public art installation of brightly colored, giant, smiling flowers.
She holds Bachelors degrees from Arizona State University in Inter-media Art and the Interdisciplinary Studies of Psychology and Philosophy. Pursued Graduate work in Art Therapy at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Her work has been displayed all over the world and has been featured in a number of publications and public/private showings.
However, her preferred place to show her work is still on the street and believes art and it’s impact should be accessible to all.
Kristin is a tenacious, loving and energetic artist who enjoys creating beauty and inspiring others through artistic collaborations and experiences. She is excited to begin what’s next…
